Hi, I’m Greg!

I’m a product design leader based in New York City.

I lead the Product Design team for BestWork - an enterprise application built by and for R/GA.

As Director of Product Design for BestWork, I am leveraging my years of experience creating simple and beautiful experiences for R/GA’s clients to the tools that the agency uses to operate globally.

Our fully-dedicated product team owns the suite of digital tools that the agency uses to plan projects and manage our global creative workforce.

Our goal is to build simple and impactful experiences that enable people to spend less time struggling with internal tools, and more time doing their best work.

I believe that how we design something is equally important to what we design.

I have over 10 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams in the creation of products, experiences, and digital design solutions for a wide range of global organizations like Nike, Jordan, Converse, Uber, JPMorgan Chase, Express Scripts, and more.

The foundation of my design experience is built on human-centered and collaborative design principles that I bring to every project.

I have practical experience leading all phases of the design process - from early, blue-sky ideation all the way through nitty-gritty definition, refinement, launch, and measurement.

When leading design teams I foster a collaborative environment in which everyone helps to shape our creative process. I believe a more inclusive and enjoyable process will result in better outcomes for my teammates, stakeholders, and users.

I teach a human-centered approach to UX/UI design.

I love giving back to the design community by teaching, mentoring, and speaking with design students.

For 5 years I co-taught a third-year undergrad course (Intro to Interaction Design) at the School of Visual Arts for the BFA Design program.

My co-teacher and I designed and taught a two-semester curriculum with the goal of introducing students to design as a problem-solving method in the context of designing digital experiences.
