The objective was to design a faucet for a public rest room at a highway rest stop with an emphasis on the experience of the user within the given environment.
"The dominant concept behind my design was 'different voyages.' Travelers on highways are all coming from different places, converging at rest stops, and then continuing on to separate destinations. In a similar fashion, users will converge at the same sink structure before departing on individual journeys."
